Sara Hendrix is an Atlanta based artist and member of The O Gallery Collective of Artists.  Yoga is an important part of Sara's artwork. Over the years while studying art, drawing composition, color theory, and painting, she also practiced yoga. Sara learned that the mindfulness she was using in yoga could be applied to her art. Through mixed media, she began using yoga poses, symbols, and Sanskrit in her pieces. Sara completed coursework to qualify as a level 200 and 500 yoga instructor and added doshas, chakras, and meditation to her art. 

As a member of the Atlanta Artists Center, Sara has been juried into several shows and received awards. She was also juried into the annual show for the National Collage Society. Her mixed-media work includes paintings and drawings which have been sold in several Atlanta galleries, including The O Gallery, the Limelight Gallery, the Norcross Rectory, the Seen Gallery of Decatur, and Art-Haus in Grant Park. Sara is a member of the Shadowline Artist Group, which is a cadre of artists that critique each other’s work and develop shows in the Atlanta area. She is currently a member of the Roswell Fine Arts Alliance, and The Atlanta Collage Society.
